Born in a rainy city.
You see, a RAINSTOPPER is not made. A real RAINSTOPPER is born, under monsoon season thunderstorms and ravaging typhoon rain.
As a daily motorcycle rider in the basin city of Taipei, where the day-to-day weather is highly unpredictable, I need a small sized weatherproofing luggage that can carry my spare T-shirt (to change into after riding in mild drizzle) and my rain jacket (to quickly put on when the rain starts to pour out of nowhere).
That's how the RAINSTOPPER came about, from my simple yet personalized requirements:
- I want a small bag that keeps my spare clothes dry.
- I want a quickly accessible compartment right in front of me when I ride.
- I want a gas tank bag that I can bring with me after I parked.
- I want to open and close the bag easily with my thick motorcycle gloves on.
- I want to grab my credit card at the gas station without taking my gloves off.
- I want padded insert made of soft cotton fabric, so that I can occasionally bring my camera, and throw the insert into the washing machine if needed.
If these requirements of mine happens to also be yours, then the RAINSTOPPER is probably the right tool for you. If you have other personal needs, or if you ride a different bike to mine, feel free to drop an email and ask me any question about how it fits your ride, and you can count on me to give you a clear-cut yes-or-no answer.
